Continue to watch our website for information regarding International Brain Foundation activities and events.
The International Brain Foundation is committed to promoting awareness and appreciation of human brain functions and fostering new discoveries for treating brain disorders and injuries.
We
are in the process of implementing a multilevel brain education and awareness
campaign incorporating elements such as educational curricula and an education and awareness conference. By unifying the resources of
neurological organizations, along with medical corporations and
neurological research scientists, we seek to bring HOPE to those suffering
with and affected by brain maladies.
Local schools will be able to schedule a “house call” with Dr. Scott Gibbs, who will discuss with
students the importance of safety, healthy living and good choices relating to
the brain and neurological system.
Additionally, we will host an Awareness and Education Conference targeted toward members of the medical community, medical and nursing students, patients and their caretakers. The conference will focus on brain injury and diseases, substance abuse and addiction and how it effects the brain, and special needs such as Autism and Down Syndrome.
